Key Responsibilities

As Health and Sanitation Officer, you will:

✅ Implement programs and strategies promoting good governance at the sector level and compile data and reports from Cells.
✅ Monitor and enhance governance initiatives, organizing impactful programs to improve transparency, accountability, and community participation.
✅ Lead awareness campaigns to educate the public on governance and specific development programs.
✅ Handle complaints and grievances, ensuring that citizens’ voices are heard, documented, and addressed promptly.
✅ Support and monitor Abunzi activities (community mediators), strengthening their capacity through training.
✅ Coordinate umuganda activities, consolidating reports on community work and civic engagement.
✅ Analyze reports from Cell Councils, identifying issues that require attention at the Sector Council level.

🎓 Qualifications

Education: (No prior work experience required)

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields:

Public Administration
Administrative Sciences
Development Studies
Philosophy
Political Sciences
Education Sciences
Governance
Community Development
Rural Development

Experience:
No previous experience is required, making this a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates eager to build their career in governance and community development.
